The Mission
Your mission is simple, make every customer feel looked after.
You’ll be the bridge between our customers and our operations team, ensuring communication is clear, problems are solved fast, and nothing falls through the cracks. When customers think of JAMA Logistics, you help ensure they think “professional, responsive, dependable.”
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Being the first point of contact for our customers, calm, professional, and solutions-focused
Handling customer enquiries via phone and email with speed and confidence
Processing bookings accurately and ensuring service requests are executed smoothly
Tracking shipments and proactively updating customers, no chasing, no confusion
Resolving issues and complaints with ownership, empathy, and urgency
Keeping customer records and internal systems clean, accurate, and up to date
Working closely with operations, logistics, and sales to deliver on customer promises
Spotting inefficiencies and suggesting smarter ways of doing things
Supporting the business with general admin, data entry, and documentation
Ensuring all work aligns with company standards and UK logistics regulations
What We’re Looking For
Experience in customer service or logistics (logistics experience is essential)
Strong communication skills. you’re clear, professional, and confident
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable using spreadsheets, Excel, and internal systems
Able to multitask and stay composed under pressure
A positive, team-first attitude. no egos, no excuses
A mindset that takes ownership, not shortcuts
Logistics or supply chain knowledge is a strong advantage
