What You’ll Be Doing
Creating Opportunity from Nothing
Researching, prospecting, and building a robust pipeline of new business across target sectors.Owning the First Conversation
High-volume outbound calling and outreach. Smart, confident conversations that uncover real logistics needs.Consultative Selling
Listen first, diagnose challenges, and position tailored logistics solutions — no scripts, just clarity.Managing the Sales Cycle
Drive opportunities from initial contact through to close with discipline, prioritisation, and urgency.Building Trust
Establish credibility quickly and convert prospects into long-term customers through reliable follow through.Collaborating Internally
Work with operations, pricing, and customer service to craft viable proposals and deliver on promises.Maintaining Accurate Records
Keep the CRM and supporting documentation up to date so the business can scale reliably.Driving Continuous Improvement
Spot trends, feed market insight back to the team, and suggest smarter approaches to win business.
Who This Is For
This role is for someone who:
Has sales experience, ideally in logistics, transport, or supply chain (mindset beats CV).
Is comfortable with cold calling and understands that rejection is part of success.
Has a genuine hunger to win and a refusal to accept average.
Can qualify leads, ask sharp questions, and create momentum in a competitive market.
Communicates clearly, confidently, and persuasively.
Is organised, disciplined, and relentless with follow-ups.
Is comfortable using CRM systems, prospecting tools, and basic tech.
